Thanks, Dave. I'm going to the Red Wings game this afternoon with my mom. We're going out to eat after the game and plan to stop at Art Van to buy a new loveseat. Exciting, I know. We have a Professional Development Inservice at school on Monday, but I'm taking the day off instead.

I am off Monday surprised you guys are working!

The students get the day off, but they've made it an inservice day for years now. They like to torture us.

Thanks, Dave! It was a decent if unspectacular day. I did get to go out to dinner with my mom at Red Robin for my free birthday burger and strawberry sundae.

I got a few tshirts, a couple of books and money from my mom. That was pretty much it.

The Detroit Red Wings threw a banquet for me at one of the local casinos. To make me feel even more loved, they even invited other season ticket holders to enjoy my company.

Actually, it was their annual Season Ticket Holder banquet for people that paid in full rather than doing a payment plan. I took my mom and had a good time. The buffet was very good.

I'm also taking Wednesday off of work. I thought that would be more fun than taking today since we have meetings on Wednesdays.
