Hi Megan and Kurt.
Both of you have posted a couple of times and I thought it might be nice for you guys to have your own thread in case you wanna ask any broad questions about any of us.

Well he said he's not a big posting kind of guy so I expect no miracles. I mean he's already posted twice.

I'll say hello. I've actually been pretty busy. I read your post when I got Dave's message, but I'm giving midterms next week and I've had to write a couple of exams and check a ton of papers. I just got home about 15 minutes ago. I went out to eat with my mom, brother and nieces after work and then went over to my parents' house to have cake (I just turned 35 today), watch Napoleon Dynamite and play games. So I haven't really had a whole lot of time to post.

I live in metro Detroit, am 35 years old, teach full time (high school math), work part time at a comic book store where I've worked since 1986, have a 12 year old miniature schnauzer named Gunnar, collect DVDs, books, cds, and comics, and love to travel (mostly during the summer). I've been to all 50 states as well as Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, Australia, and New Zealand. I plan to hit mainland Europe at some point.

I was born in Connecticut, moved to Wisconsin in highschool, went to the University of New Mexico for college and graduated with a BFA. I crewed a sloop down to South America and travelled up to Central America where I studied Spanish and started selling my work.
I go back and forth between the US and Guatemala, collect comics, books, love movies, am a half owner in a silkscreen shop and there's a picture of what I look like from this last summer when I met up with Dave at a Rennaissance fair.
I'm a professional painter and I dabble in ceramics and I'm trying to build a house at the moment.
I have two dogs, an akita and a Jack Russell terrier.

Oh and I thought I should add this because it's a slight coincidence. My boyfriend's birthday is today and he's turning 38 and is certain he's an old man.
I told him that's really silly.

I love sports too. Doing them and watching them.

Cept I can't shoot an arrow worth beans. Dave can verify that.
