Well I'm trying an experiment today. About a year ago I had three different occasions of food poisoning and the only food I could find in common in all three meals was brown rice. I love brown rice and I've been eating it since highschool to make whole proteins out of vegetarian meals. So I talked with Nastypup over at the VA board who's a Doctor and she said it was very possible I'd developed an allergy to it. So I finally made some today and I ate a half cup of it plain to see if that's what's up. So far so good. It's been two hours....it would be great if I don't get sick. :?

Yep! I'm fine! It wasn't the rice! I have no idea what it might have been but at least I know it wasn't the rice!
Wow I can't believe it took me like 6 months to do that experiment.
I just didn't feel much like having a day of throwing up!

All I can think of is I might have had some other bacterial problem at the time. Like I said, after looking at everything I ate...the only thing in common was the rice.

I ate at Red Robin tonight after te movie. Their bacon cheeseburger is very tasty. Not the best I ever had, but very good nonetheless.

I just cooked up some pork loin to stock the fridge and freezer. I also made a nice pork and cheese sandwich for lunch. mm mm good. I've also recently cooked up eye of round roast beef and turkey breast so I have some variety in the dinner meat category.

Well it sounds like Kurt has his proteins covered!
I mix it up between beef, pork, chicken , pizza, and pasta , and lentils.
I just had a hardboiled egg for breakfast :?

I skip the eggs now because they are high in cholesterol, but I bought a container of Eggbeaters which is made from egg whites and is cholesterol free. I had some scrambled eggs with it that weren't bad the other day.

My breakfast today was a couple of frozen waffles I put in the toaster. They are a lowfat variety and are very low in fat and cholesterol and still taste pretty good. Lunch was a pork and cheese sandwich, celery, carrots, pineapple and Ritz Crisps.

Lunch today was a chef's salad with homemade vinagrette and dinner is chicken stir fry with rice.

I'm surprised your DR. didn't mention that to you. It's a dietary supplement you can pick up at GNC and it's a capsule with Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids which helps lower colesterol. I take one daily since I don't eat a lot of fish.
