A couple of the things are that when you open a new window, it opens it almost on top of the one you are in, instead of in the upper left corner like IE does it. I'd rather have it in the corner of the screen. On a couple of websites, the entry box for entering data is too small, but I think that might be a scripting problem or something. It isn't like that on IE, though. Maybe it was designed for that website with IE in mind.

Would there be extensions for those kinds of things?

I do like the popup blocker, though.
why dont you open it in a tab? not shure how to change it on a mac

I've never used tabs before, but now that I've tried them, they're kind of useful. I think I will just use tabs instead of new windows.

If you dont know, if you have a scroll wheel on your mouse and you want to open a link in a new tab just click the link with the mouse wheel.

I figured it out easy enough. If I hold down the mouse button, I get the option to open the link in a new window or a new tab.

That works better on a desktop than a laptop - especially my old beater Vaio with the barely-working buttons on the trackpad...

Firefox is buggy on Mac's I've found. I don't know if it's the program itself, or the laundry list of extensions that I have installed, but my mouse constant disappears when scrolling over a page, and when I use my touch-pad to scroll, it acts as navigation and moves me back several pages. I have no idea why it does that, and it aggravates me to no end. Finally I gave up Firefox and went back to Safari.

Oddly, the problems only occur when I use the touch-pad instead of my mouse. :?

I haven't had the problems that Hella's lists, but I've had a couple of problems.

A couple of times when I was doing searches on this one website, it would freeze up and I had to force quit and restart it.. That has been the main thing and it is mostly just an annoyance.

hey - post 2000 - cool and I see Dave is over 3000

Firefox crashed for me a lot too. I'm good with Safari, the only plug in I really want is for image blocking. I have a link to get a new tab button, I just haven't installed it yet.

Plus Safari has spell check. Love it for online forums.

Firefox hasn't crashed too much for me. I've actually had just as many or more problems with Safari crashing. There are a few things I prefer with Safari and a few things I prefer with IE.
