firefox 1.5 is now availible, I just installed it and its real fast on rendering pages so far
I've been using Firefox 1.0.7 and it has been pretty good. I'm slowly moving my stuff over from IE 5.0.Psychotic_Carp wrote:firefox 1.5 is now availible, I just installed it and its real fast on rendering pages so far
try getting 1.5 , major improvement on speedRusty wrote:I've been using Firefox 1.0.7 and it has been pretty good. I'm slowly moving my stuff over from IE 5.0.Psychotic_Carp wrote:firefox 1.5 is now availible, I just installed it and its real fast on rendering pages so far
Okay - I've downloaded it - seems okay so farPsychotic_Carp wrote: try getting 1.5 , major improvement on speed
Are there any other updates to the program that are noticeable? Not that it matters, as I don't browse the web on my PC that often, but I will do the upgrade when I get around to it.Psychotic_Carp wrote:try getting 1.5 , major improvement on speed

I meant besides the faster part.Psychotic_Carp wrote:like I said its faster
it should only change if you start adding a bunch of extentionsRusty wrote:It does seem pretty fast to me, much faster than my browsers have been in the past. Hopefully it will maintain that speed.
A couple of the things are that when you open a new window, it opens it almost on top of the one you are in, instead of in the upper left corner like IE does it. I'd rather have it in the corner of the screen. On a couple of websites, the entry box for entering data is too small, but I think that might be a scripting problem or something. It isn't like that on IE, though. Maybe it was designed for that website with IE in mind.Psychotic_Carp wrote:did you check for an extension?
