Earlier France said they would destroy the Americans swimming team in the men's relay, they just lost to America!

That was an incredible race. Especially the way the final guy closed the gap at the end.

I felt a little bad for Katie Hoff in the earlier race, though.

Is she supposed to race anymore? I wish she had won as well

She was in a prelim this morning and qualified for the semifinal. I think the final is today. She got bronze in her first event, silver in the second and she is competing in 4 other events. I hope she gets at least a couple of golds.

She lost two of the races I saw

phelps now has only 2 more records to break, 1 more world record and the rest of the medals.

Yeah, Hoff got 4th place in both. She's not having a great Olympics. I watched the women's team gymnastics final. Those Chinese gymnasts sure look younger than the 16 year old age minimum. I know there is a controversy about it.

bela corli has been quite vocal about it, I hope someday they prove they were too young and strip them of their medals

I didnt think US would go gold and silver in the all around, it looked pretty bad for us in the beginning

Both girls did a nice job as did the Chinese girl who got the bronze. I was happy to see USA go gold-silver.

phelps got his 7th just barely!

It was amazing seeing his arms swing around like that and beat Cavic to the wall.

most of the olympics has been phelps 8th, dara almost got the gold in her final.

All that stuff was on last night. NBC must be running out of events that they want to cover. I watched the Lions preseason win against Cincinnati. They looked pretty good, but it is preseason.

Another American got screwed in the gymnastics events

I watched the US Men's Volleyball team beat Brazil for the gold medal. That was a very good match. I then watched the US Men's Basketball team beat Spain for the gold medal. That was also a very good match, surprisingly, since Spain played a nice game. Very close throughout.
