The Final Four!!!
The Final Four!!!
I forgot all about this particular time of year. I'm real impressed by the Gonzaga team ( Washington State).
Anyone else care about basketball? What teams are you hoping for?
If nobody cares, use the thread for general bullshit.
Oh and Happy St. Patricks day!!

Re: March Madness
I enjoyed watching Oakland University win the play in game. It would be great to see them beat North Carolina, but somehow I just don't see that happening. Maybe they can hang with them for a half and give them a good scare, but a win over NC would be an incredible feat.fluffy wrote:Well if he's a basketball fan then this is the thread for him!Psychotic_Carp wrote:nvg50 is a basketball fan but he thinks he doesnt belong herefluffy wrote:I forgot all about this particular time of year. I'm thinking since Wisconsin has two teams in the sweet sixteen I should maybe be rooting for one of them!
However I really can't believe Washington made it in there. What a cinderella team.

It's funny that the Big 10 was not given a whole lot of respect this year, but they now have 3 teams in the elite 8 with Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan State. Both games so far tonight have been really good and I am impressed with how MIchigan State beat Duke.
When the Big 10-ACC challenge happened earlier this year, the ACC won 7-2, but when it counts the record is Big 10 2 ACC 0

I couldn't believe Michigan State and Wisconsin came back like they did in those games. They were seriously good games. Now Let's see how the Utah/Kentucky, NC/Villanova games go!kurt culler wrote:It's funny that the Big 10 was not given a whole lot of respect this year, but they now have 3 teams in the elite 8 with Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan State. Does anyone know what state Villanova comes from?
Villanova is a Catholic University about 20 minutes west of Philadelphia. They won the NCAA back in the early 80s. I'm hoping that they and Utah both pull upsets tonight.fluffy wrote:
