The Final Four!!!

Post by fluffy »

I forgot all about this particular time of year. I'm real impressed by the Gonzaga team ( Washington State).
Anyone else care about basketball? What teams are you hoping for?
If nobody cares, use the thread for general bullshit. :P
Oh and Happy St. Patricks day!!

I enjoyed watching Oakland University win the play in game. It would be great to see them beat North Carolina, but somehow I just don't see that happening. Maybe they can hang with them for a half and give them a good scare, but a win over NC would be an incredible feat.

I'm sure getting away from it all will do wonders for you!

I'm thinking since Wisconsin has two teams in the sweet sixteen I should maybe be rooting for one of them!
However I really can't believe Washington made it in there. What a cinderella team.

Well it looks like Wisc-Mil is gonna lose to Illinois, and the Huskies are going to lose to Louiseville but it's only halftime where I'm at so who knows?

Well Illinois fans cheer! What a good team!
Louisville fans cheer, another good team!
Next comes Arizona/Oklahoma and Virginia/ Texas tech.

It's funny that the Big 10 was not given a whole lot of respect this year, but they now have 3 teams in the elite 8 with Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan State. Both games so far tonight have been really good and I am impressed with how MIchigan State beat Duke.

When the Big 10-ACC challenge happened earlier this year, the ACC won 7-2, but when it counts the record is Big 10 2 ACC 0

I couldn't believe Michigan State and Wisconsin came back like they did in those games. They were seriously good games. Now Let's see how the Utah/Kentucky, NC/Villanova games go!

Does anyone know what state Villanova comes from?

Villanova is a Catholic University about 20 minutes west of Philadelphia. They won the NCAA back in the early 80s. I'm hoping that they and Utah both pull upsets tonight.
