my dsl keeps going offline
Believe it or not I'm actually back on topic from comicbook stores to the fact that my DSL went out last night.
SO if it seems like I don't care when you ask a question and I don't show back up it's just that I'm preparing in case it decides to go offline again tonight.
Thank god my pet didn't die last night.
My cyber pet Godzilla I mean.

Thank you for explaining that Kurt. For where I live it's the fastest option. It's a 128 DSL so it's almost as slow as dial up but not really.kurt culler wrote:DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line and is a type of high speed computer service that runs through your phone line. A cable modem is generally faster when running at its top speed, but dsl is usually cheaper and almost as fast.azianboi044 wrote:whats a dsl? isnt it a computer company?

I hope you appreciate my presence here a little more! 8)
Actually, I've only been off the dialup diet for about 17 months (which was when I got my cable modem. I've had access to a T1 line at work for a longtime, but home was always much slooowweerrrr...
Actually I know for you super tech types it sounds like it would be incredibly slow but it isn't. It's just not fiber optic land here yet.kurt culler wrote:What awesome perseverence!!! 8)fluffy wrote:Thank you both for making me feel like a cavewoman digging in the dirt.
