How was your easter guys?

Easter was fine. I went to church with the family and then we ate dinner at my parents house afterward. We played cards for a few hours and then I brought home a bunch of leftovers - ham, apple pie, carrot cake, rolls. I'll be set for a while.

I went to my brothers and had dinner there on sat sunday I made myself a steak, not much other than that.

I had to leave my computer at the Apple Store today. They are probably going to replace the optical drive because it doesn't want to eject cds and dvds from the drive. I'll likely be without a computer for a few days, but am at my parents house now for my dad's birthday, so I have access for the moment.

It doesn't want to eject any disc you put in there or one just got stuck?

See I have a PC and about 10 drives I could throw in here (upgrades threw the years), you could prob put one in your mac but it wouldn't like that

I've been burning a lot of dvds over the past month and it started sounding a bit funny around 10 days ago and the dvd acted like it was a bit stuck when it ejected. Then it started not ejecting until the second or third try. Finally, on Friday night it stopped ejecting at all. It would physically try, but would not eject. I was able to get the disc out after a while, but I had the same problem with a different brand and with a commercial disc.

I bought the computer in October so it shouldn't be going bad already. I get a free replacement for the drive with my Applecare, but it is still a nuisance to be without it. I'm at school right now to check my email. I'm hoping I'll have it back tomorrow or Saturday.

its not a laptop is it? it should have a standard ide drive or a sata drive.

My brothers wedding is on sat so ill be heading over there tomarrow i wont be back here until sunday
