I finally got my XFinity all hooked up and working today. I tried to do a self install last Saturday and again on Tuesday with no success so they sent out a technician. He told me that the self install usually only works for people who are upgrading their Comcast service. He had to run a new line from the pole to the house and change some of the wiring in the basement, but we got everything up and running. It's pretty spiffy with plenty of On Demand stuff. I plan to catch up on Legends of Tomorrow and then DVR future episodes.

So I downloaded an app that puts a filter over faces using your camera and was playing around with it today.

Weird. It showed them when I first posted them, but not now. I used another image source that I've used before and they seem to work now. Let me know if you can see them, even if it is two weeks later like this time.

Its been a pretty bad couple... few weeks, our supervisor quit, my batter (car) died, my tivo died and we have a new supervisor....

That doesn't sound like fun. Hopefully it will get better soon.

I'm really looking forward to spring break, which starts on Friday. My first three classes aren't too bad, but my last two are kind of a pain.

How was your easter?

Easter was good. I went over to my mom's house around 1pm and had Easter dinner with her, my brother, his wife, my niece and her boyfriend. We then played cards for the rest of the afternoon.

I'm now planning to enjoy the week off of school. I'll be going to see Batman v Superman on Saturday.

It was ok, too much chocolate!! I started back to work this week, I have not slept well in days

This week is the big exam week for high schools across the state. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be full of testing.

At least it makes it easy to lesson plan.

XFinity apparently has one week a year where hundreds of tv shows are free to watch using their On Demand service and it starts in a week. I think I'll try to catch up on Supergirl if it is one of the available shows. I don't know that I'll have time to catch up on more than one show, but we'll see what happens. I've been making a lot of progress in getting caught up on recent movies.

Theyre taking Scrubs off of Netflix

Unfortunately, Supergirl is not one of the titles that XFinity made available so I haven't watched it yet. I'll probably just wait for the dvd this fall.

I've got all of Scrubs on dvd so taking it off of Netflix doesn't really bother me. If you haven't watched it, catch it while you can.

I have the dvds, it was just easier to use the roku I think its on amazon to i have to check agaian though
