102 - The Rescuers Down Under - 7.5/10 - A pretty good sequel that might be better than the original. In this one, a nine year old boy in Australia rescues a giant golden eagle, but the boy is later captured by a poacher looking to catch the eagle. A message goes out for help from the Rescue Aid Society and Bianca and Bernard are sent to investigate.

104 - Bachelor in Paradise - 7/10 - Bob Hope stars as an author who writes popular books about the women in other countries. He goes undercover in a new community for families to do research on a book on Americans. Things don't exactly go as planned. This was a fun, if not overly complicated film.

:610:
105 - Mr. Dodd Takes the Air - 6/10 - A young man from a small town sings on a local show and is invited to New York. He becomes a huge sensation, makes a ton of money, but spends it rapidly as well. Gold diggers are after him, too, but one woman looks to safeguard his interests. It was watchable, but not that great overall.

:710:
106 - The Model and the Marriage Broker - 7/10 - Mae runs helps her clients find a spouse by advising them and nudging them in the right direction and arranging meetings. She befriends a model and tries to set her up with a nice optician friend of hers. Things go well for a while until a few snags happen. I thought that the second half of the film was better than the first half.

107 - Les Miserables (2019) - 8.5/10 - Stephane transfers into the Street Crime Unit in Montfermeil, a poverty stricken suburb of Paris where Victor Hugo wrote and set part of Les Miserables. He is teamed up with two veterans, a white cop who can be casually racist and likes to abuse his power and a black cop who grew up in the area and sometimes dishes out his own abuses of power. When an arrest of a youth turns violent, events are set in motion that are a modern day reflection of Hugo's novel. I thought that the movie was very well done.

108 - Sleeping Beauty - 8.5/10 - Another Disney classic that is very entertaining. Good music, story and villain. I think I saw this long ago, but I certainly didn't remember it.

109 - Hobbs & Shaw - 7.5/10 - This Fast and the Furious spinoff was fun. It isn't exactly high drama, but it had good action scenes and plenty of humor.

:810:
110 - Cinderella (1950) - 8/10 - It still holds up pretty well today. A definite classic.

111 - Dumbo (1941) - 8/10 - The original is still a fun movie. Short, but fun.

:810:
112 - Alice in Wonderland (1951) - 8/10 - This was a fun adaptation of the classic tale.

113 - Atlantis: The Lost Empire - 8/10 - In 1914, Milo Thatch works at a university and is obsessed with finding the lost kingdom of Atlantis. He comes into possession of an old journal that shows the way to Atlantis and joins an expedition to find it. I thought it was a fun movie.

114 - The Black Hole - 7/10 - I saw this in the theater when it came out and thought that it was kind of boring then. The effects are pretty good and impressive at times, but the story is kind of dull.

Basil and company seek out the villainous mastermind, Ratigan, in a fun adventure through Victorian London.

117 - Hanna - 7.5/10 - The film has many of the same elements that are found in the later tv version. I think that the tv series is better because they have a lot more time to expand and explore, but the film is still pretty entertaining in its own right. We don't see much of the father in the movie, but Saoirse Ronan does an excellent job in carrying the film.

118 - Music for Millions - 7.5/10 - A six year old girl travels by train to stay with her adult sister who plays in an orchestra. The girl is essentially adopted by the other women in the orchestra and by one of the men (Jimmy Durante). The music is good, the comedy relief from Jimmy Durante is entertaining and the movie is good.

119 - Two Tickets to Broadway - 7/10 - This musical starts with Nancy Peterson leaving Pelican Falls, Vermont for New York to try and make it on Broadway. She meets a singer who is struggling to get noticed and get a spot on the Bob Crosby show (Bing's brother). There is a lot of singing and dancing in this fairly pedestrian musical and it seems to be one more at home on the small stage rather than the big screen. Still, it was enjoyable enough.

120 - Carefree - 7.5/10 - Steve's girlfriend Amanda (Ginger Rogers) is having trouble committing to marry him so Steve gets her to see one of his best friends, a psychologist named Tony (Fred Astaire). This plan backfires when Amanda falls in love with Tony. It was a fun film from the 1930s.

121 - Hollywood Canteen - 7.5/10 - Two soldiers on leave from the Pacific during WWII visit the Hollywood Canteen and meet many famous movie stars and other entertainers. One of them even gets to fulfill his dream of getting a kiss from Joan Leslie. I thought it was fun.
