I need to wrap gifts, too. I was going to do it yesterday, but was kind of lazy and didn't get around to it. I'll take care of it later this morning. I don't have to be there until 5pm.

I went out and shot pool from 10pm-midnight last night with a friend of mine. It was fun, though he's better than I am and won the majority of the games. I had a few good streaks, though.

I was woken up around 8am today by the sound of a jackhammer and a work crew just down the block. They told me a little bit ago that they were going to turn the water off in about 15 minutes and that it would be off for a few hours. It was long enough to take a shower and get a few bottles of water set aside if needed.

Yeah, there was a water main break just down the block. They were working on it for a couple of hours and then took off when it was fixed.

I just got home from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert and it was very cool. If you haven't seen one of TSO's shows, they feature 23 performers, including several guitars, 2 keyboards, an electric violin, drums, an orchestra, a narrator, several lead singers, and backup singers/dancers. Throw in a very nice light show with lasers, fireworks, flamethrowers and more and you have a very entertaining 2.5 hour performance. The first half of the show is a Christmas Rock Opera based on one of their cds and the second half of the show is mostly other songs from their cds and a few extras.
