The Apple TV they had on display at the Apple Store looked very enticing. Especially with a built in hard drive to store hundreds of hours of shows or 10s of thousands of songs.

I'd wait for a second generation, if I ever wanted to go for it.

I don't understand the lack of DVD player on it.

you shouldent even have to buy a container, you can get a usb cable and power plug from micro center (theres one at 14 and i75) you yank it out set the jumper to master and plug in the connectors and away you go. If you want an external case i would also suggest micro center or get it from newwegg.com

Ali's monitor has a dead pixel, it drives me nuts. She doesn't even notice it.

My new computer has one of those really flat keyboards. It is certainly different from the keyboard I had before. I kind of like it, but if I change my mind, then I can always switch back to my old one.

I don't know if it's because I am on a laptop for the last 3 years or what, but I use more keyboard shortcuts then I ever have in my computing life. Control-click doesn't faze me anymore, and I find it much easier to hit Command + shortcut key then hitting Control + shortcut key on a PC. I get frustrated a lot at work because ALT is where the Command key is and I hit it all the time.

That said, when I get an iMac or Power Mac, I'll definitely have a two (or more) button mouse.

I do the same thing. I use a lot of the command key shortcuts instead of using the drop down menus. My new mouse may not have two buttons, but at least it has a scroll wheel finally.
