They lost in overtime when Garcia threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. They had lots of chances earlier in the game to get turnovers and return them for touchdowns themselves, but didn't capitalize on them. They're in second place, 1 game behind Chicago, but Chicago has the tiebreaker because they swept Detroit.

They aren't as bad as the Packers. They are pure crap this year.

No, but they tease you with close losses which in some respects is worse. They've been doing it for years now.

24-0 Minnesota late in the first half.

make that 24-7 now 2 turnovers have led to 14 points for Minnesota

Oh, the game isn't over yet. I have no doubt that the Lions are fully capable of scoring 3 touchdowns in the second half to take a 28-24 lead and then lose on a last second touchdown by Minnesota.

My prediction - a kickoff or punt return for a touchdown, an interception return for a touchdown and a touchdown pass, followed by a turnover that leads to the opposing touchdown. :?

AGH...the Packers...I'm playing LoGD while listening to this game.
I just don't want to get too involved.

Edit! See...three turnovers! It was a good thing I didn't get too involved!

How about them Lions. They actually won and Joey looked good. Of course, then Mariucci comes out and says that Garcia would start next week if healthy, even though Joey had a really good game.

Finally - There's a Mooch on the loose in Motown. Goodbye, Steve Mariucci - Hello, Dick Jauron

[sarcasm]Man, did Garcia look good today or what. All of his throws were crisp and made the switch from Harrington seem like a no brainer. The defense did a great job defending the long ball, too.[/sarcasm]

[sarcasm] How did you like those Green Bay Packers? They only had 4 turnovers! That Favre is sure showing off his stuff isn't he![/sarcasm]
