That would have been better if Donnie Darko was the cashier rather than Tom

I went to see Flushed Away tonight and loved it. There were a lot of little gags thrown in that really added to the experience. The slugs were also very entertaining. Highly recommended.

Flushed Away is by the same people who did Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit. It's about a pet rat who ends up flushed down the sewer and into a rat society down there. He struggles to survive and get back home. There's a lo of comedy amidst the adventure.

I went to see Stranger Than Fiction tonight. It stars Will Ferrell as an IRS auditor who loves a very boring and repetitive life until one day when he starts hearing a woman narrating his life, but he's the only one who can hear it. I liked the movie a lot. It was a kind of a low key comedy and very entertaining.

I can't wait to see Stranger than Fiction!!

I saw The Breakup with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn and honestly it just made me really really sad. Aniston probably gives her best performfance in a film ever, but the film left me flat.

I also saw Click and I really think although it's premise is not new, it was very well done and there are some seriously funny moments.

I saw Date Movie and although it has Alyson Harrigan in it it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I watched Annapolis which stars James Franko and Tyrese Gibson. Franko plays a guy who grew up in the dockyard across from the naval academy and is building ships along with his dad when he gets the chance to attend the academy. He ends up finding it to be pretty tough going. I liked the movie a lot, though it was maybe a bit predictable at times. That didn't really matter since the performances were all pretty good, including a nice supporting cast.

i went to see two movies today.

Casino Royale was very cool. I think it was one of the best Bond movies ever. Don't go to see it for the gadgets, just lots of action and a good story. Daniel Craig made an excellent James Bond. This movie is based on the first book, so it shows how he becomes a 00 agent.

Santa Clause 3 was not as good as the first two movies, but it wasn't that bad. If you go in not expecting anything spectacular, you can be entertained for an hour and a half. In this one, his wife is about to give birth just before Christmas and Jack Frost wants to take over the red suit.

I watched The Ringer today. The whole idea of rigging the Special Olympics just seems wrong, but since it is a Farrelly brothers movie, that isn't that unexpected. The movie wasn't really that good, but it was better than I expected.

I watched Waist Deep this evening with Tyrese Gibson and Meagan Good. I liked the movie, which deals with Gibson's character trying to rescue his son who was kidnapped in a carjacking. He has to fall back on the criminal past he left behind to accomplish this. It wasn't a work of art, but it as an entertaining movie and Meagan Good also did a good job (and is nice to look at).

I want to see Clerks II some time. Evening Harder sounds good, too.

I watched Cars and enjoyed it just about as much as I did in the theater. It turned outto be a very good movie.
