Went to Jersey for the weekend to see the family for a while, delayed almost 5 hours coming home. And now I'm heading out to Toronto tomorrow night for work. Hopefully they'll be no delays.

I had a good time at the Tigers game tonight, even though they lost. They were giving away 1968 replica jerseys, but we got there a bit late for that. The crowd was huge.

Delayed a total of five hours on the trip to Toronto and back to Houston. Fun times.

The trip went well besides that part. The client we met with was minutes from Niagara Falls, so we stopped by really quickly so I could see it (3 or 4 minutes, if that long) and snapped a few pictures only to rush to the airport, get to the gate as they were boarding and then delayed on the runway.

Hella - I'm glad you had a good trip.

I just got back from Chicago. Wizard World was fun. I bought lots of comics and spent lots of money. The drive there and back was a bit long, but was manageable. I'll probably sleep in a bit on Monday. I've got a busy day on Monday, but hope to have time to sort the comics I picked up. If not, I'll do it on Tuesday.

It was pretty empty on Friday. Saturday was very crowded and Sunday was pretty busy.

Happy 4th of July.

I'm going over to my parents house for dinner and then my mom and I will be going to watch the fireworks at Rackham Golf Course. We've been going there to watch the fireworks for the past 5-6 years. They usually put on a good show.

Ali and I went out to dinner and when we got home we took our folding lawn chairs to the end of our street where we had an awesome view of the Houston fireworks. It was a great view, we are literally two minutes from downtown and where the big celebration is every year. There were over 100,000 people there according to the news, so I'm glad we didn't try to go down there.

My brother, sister-in-law and niece joined me for dinner with my parents and then we left for the fireworks around 8:30. There was a decent crowd, but we had a nice view of the 25 minute show. It was a pretty good fireworks display with a lot of variety and nonstop fireworks.

I'm relaxing for most of today, but I have a wedding to go to this evening.
