s and it's just so funny in it's jargon. For example, if someone drank too much, instead of saying " he's drunk" they'll say " he's tight". They also refer to junkies as hop heads and I have no idea what a hop head is. I'll be done with it by tomorrow and then see what I can find...

Man that snow was heavy. I'm glad my snowblower was able to handle it. I think we ended up with around 6 inches. With the snowblower, it wasn't too hard to clear, but I'm glad I don't have to drive in it.

So Fluffy, how much snow did you get down there?

Re: Books

I'll start it off with the last couple of books that I read. They were Kris Longknife: Mutineer and Kris Longknife: Deserter. These are the first two books in a series by Mike Shepherd (aka Mike Moscoe) and deal with a young woman who has just graduated from her planet's (space) naval academy. Her f...

Keanu Reeves is obviously not a blond Englishman, but he has the smoking habit and I thought the depiction of hell was very well done. The score of the movie was also very appropriate. So on a 1-10 rating you'd give it a ? I'd give it a 9. 'twas very entertaining, though not for young kids, that's ...

There were a few changes from the comic, but it was still good. I'm glad to hear that. I was terrified they'd ruin...

Re: Television Favorites!

My brother is a big fan of Survivor, American Idol, and Amazing Race. I can't stand any of the reality tv shows. I watch CSI and 24 on DVD. The current shows that I watch include Veronica Mars, Scrubs, Smallville, Lost, Alias, Jack and Bobby, Alias, West Wing, Enterprise, and Battlestar Galactica. ...
